About this lens
The Nikon AF-S DX 55-200mm f/4-5.6G ED is the ED-glass refresh of the original DX 55-200 tele-zoom. ED glass reduces chromatic aberration at longer focal lengths, giving cleaner results than the plain-G predecessor. Non-VR.

Will it autofocus on entry-level Nikon DSLRs (D3xxx / D5xxx)?
Yes. The built-in AF-S silent-wave motor handles autofocus in-lens, so this works on every Nikon F-mount DSLR including entry-level bodies.
Does this lens have image stabilisation?
No. The ED (non-VR) variant predates Nikon's stabilised consumer telezoom. Stabilised alternatives include the 55-200mm VR II.
