Special-edition f/2.8 prime lens
Designed to match the Z fc DX mirrorless camera, this special-edition Z series lens combines the latest optical design with a classic look and feel. Pair it with the Z fc and you’ll get a 42 mm DX crop that’s perfect for candid portraits and vibrant vlogs. Use with a full-frame Nikon Z camera and you’ll get a 28 mm wide-angle view.
Just like the Z fc mirrorless camera, the NIKKOR Z 28mm f/2.8 (SE) is all about original design details from back then, and cutting-edge performance for today. Day or night. Indoors or out. Stills or video. You get sharp, richly detailed images and head-turning style.
The fonts used for the NIKKOR Z 28mm f/2.8 (SE) lens name match those used on AI Nikkor lenses from the era of SLR film photography. Faithfully recreated from original blueprints, the texture of the control rings recalls the feel of Nikon’s legendary SLR lenses.
