A Panasonic LVF1 accessory EVF - designed for the original Lumix GF1 mirrorless and some LX-series compact cameras that don't have a built-in viewfinder. Lower resolution than modern EVFs, but useful for framing in bright sunlight. Misfiled in Flash category - this is a viewfinder accessory.

Usually no - the DMW-LVF1 was designed for a specific generation of Panasonic cameras. Newer cameras (LX7, LX10, GX7, G80, etc.) use different accessory viewfinders (LVF2, LVF3) or have built-in EVFs.
