A classic enthusiast-era Nikon DSLR - 10MP CCD sensor with distinctive colour character, 11-point AF, built-in AF motor (older AF/AF-D lenses all autofocus). No video - this is a stills camera from an earlier era. The 18-105 VR kit zoom gives useful range. Still a capable stills camera today, particularly for photographers who value the CCD rendering.

What's special about the CCD sensor?
The D80's CCD (as opposed to modern CMOS) delivers distinctive colour rendering that some photographers still value - often described as 'Kodak-like' or 'film-like'. The trade-off is lower high-ISO performance and no video capability.
