Best for
An affordable compact for occasional use - walking, holidays, spectator sport and keeping in a jacket pocket or glovebox. The small 25mm objectives make it dim in poor light and the narrow exit pupil is less forgiving of eye placement than a full-size binocular, so it suits daylight use rather than dawn and dusk birding.
Frequently asked questions
Is a 10x25 compact suitable for birdwatching?
For casual daytime birding, yes. Serious birders usually prefer a 32mm or 42mm binocular, which gathers far more light and gives a brighter, steadier image - a 25mm compact is best thought of as a convenience binocular you always have with you.
