For a lens with a 77mm thread, the Urth UV Filter Plus+ offers SCHOTT B270 glass, a 30-layer nano-coating on both sides and an L41 UV cut-off. The frame is ultra-slim 6061 aluminium, and the warranty is for life.
It is the sensible middle of the range: a clear guard with low reflectance and no meaningful change to your exposure. Standard uses Japanese AGC glass with a lighter coating, and Pro is the tempered-glass option for harder use.

It suits lenses with a 77mm filter thread, regardless of brand. Look for the diameter symbol (ø) followed by a number on the front of the lens barrel or inside the lens cap. If it reads 77, this filter screws straight on.
Does the Plus+ UV filter need exposure compensation?
No compensation is needed. With a stated 99.00% transmission, very little light is lost.
Is Plus+ worth it over the Standard UV filter?
Standard uses Japanese AGC glass with a multi-layer coating. Plus+ uses German SCHOTT B270 glass with a 30-layer dual-side coating, and Pro uses tempered AERO-C10 glass with a 34-layer coating.
Can I use the 77mm size on smaller lenses?
Yes. A step-up ring from the smaller lens thread to 77mm lets you share one larger filter across several lenses, which is often cheaper than buying one filter per lens. Wide-angle lenses may show vignetting with a ring fitted.
