About this accessory
For a lens with a 72mm thread, the Urth UV Filter Plus+ offers SCHOTT B270 glass, a 30-layer nano-coating on both sides and an L41 UV cut-off. The frame is ultra-slim 6061 aluminium, and the warranty is for life.
With transmission around 99%, you do not need exposure compensation, and the slim, warp-resistant rim helps avoid dark corners on wider lenses. Over the Standard tier you get SCHOTT glass and a 30-layer coating, while the Pro tier adds tempered AERO-C10 glass.

Will the 72mm UV Filter Plus+ fit my lens?
Any lens with a 72mm front thread will take it. Check the ø figure marked on the front of your lens or on its cap. A lens marked ø72 takes this filter directly, and the lens manual lists the thread size too.
Will this filter darken my images?
No. Urth states about 99% light transmission, so it is effectively a clear filter and your normal exposure settings apply.
What is the difference between Urth UV Standard, Plus+ and Pro?
Standard uses Japanese AGC glass with a multi-layer coating. Plus+ uses German SCHOTT B270 glass with a 30-layer dual-side coating, and Pro uses tempered AERO-C10 glass with a 34-layer coating.
Does it have a lifetime warranty?
