It fits lenses with a 62mm front filter thread. Look for the diameter symbol (ø) followed by a number on the front of the lens barrel or inside the lens cap. If it reads 62, this filter screws straight on.
Does the Plus+ UV filter need exposure compensation?
No compensation is needed. With a stated 99.00% transmission, very little light is lost.
Is Plus+ worth it over the Standard UV filter?
Standard uses Japanese AGC glass with a multi-layer coating. Plus+ uses German SCHOTT B270 glass with a 30-layer dual-side coating, and Pro uses tempered AERO-C10 glass with a 34-layer coating.
Can one 62mm filter be shared between lenses?
If your other lenses have smaller threads, an inexpensive step-up ring up to 62mm lets you reuse this filter. Check wide-angle shots for dark corners when using a ring.
