About this accessory
The Urth 62mm Magnetic UV Filter Plus+ is a threaded UV filter that also serves as the magnetic base for other Urth magnetic filters. It uses German SCHOTT B270 glass with a CoraNano 30-layer coating on both sides, with stated 99.00% transmission, 0.38% reflectance and an L41 UV cut-off.
You screw it on once, leaving it as protection, and the other magnetic filters click on top. Urth warns not to use it with the Magnetic Adapter Ring, as the magnets will repel. It is the choice over a plain UV filter if you plan to build a magnetic set.

How do I know if a 62mm filter fits my lens?
It fits lenses with a 62mm front filter thread. Check the ø figure marked on the front of your lens or on its cap. A lens marked ø62 takes this filter directly, and the lens manual lists the thread size too.
Can I use the Magnetic UV Filter with the Magnetic Adapter Ring?
No. Urth states that the magnets will repel if you combine the two. Use either this threaded Magnetic UV filter or the adapter ring as your base, not both.
What is the difference between this and the standard Plus+ UV filter?
The glass and coating are the same, but this version has a magnetic face so other Urth magnetic filters can clip on. The standard Plus+ UV filter has no magnetic mount.
Does it need exposure compensation?
No. Urth states 99.00% light transmission, so it behaves as a clear filter.
