The Urth 49mm UV Filter Pro is Urth's top-tier clear filter. It uses AERO-C10 ionically tempered glass, which Urth states is 600% stronger than standard glass, with a CoraNano Max 34-layer coating on both sides. Stated transmission is 99.28% and reflectance is under 0.15%.
Choose Pro when durability matters most: the tempered glass is aimed at users wanting maximum front-element protection, and the low reflectance helps curb flare and ghosting. Transmission is high enough that no exposure compensation is needed.

How do I know if a 49mm filter fits my lens?
It fits any lens with a 49mm filter thread, whatever the make or mount. The thread size is printed on the lens, usually as ø49 on the front rim or on the inside of the lens cap. The number is the filter thread, not the focal length.
What does AERO-C10 tempered glass mean?
AERO-C10 is the ionically tempered glass Urth uses in its Pro tier, and Urth states it is 600% stronger than standard glass. That figure is Urth's own claim, and no filter makes a lens impact-proof.
Will the Pro UV filter affect exposure or colour?
No. Urth states 99.28% light transmission, so it behaves as a clear filter and your normal exposure settings apply.
Is the Pro tier worth it over Plus+ for a UV filter?
If you want tempered glass and a lower stated reflectance (under 0.15% against 0.38%), yes. If you only want a clear guard, Plus+ or Standard do the same basic job at lower cost.
