About this accessory
The Urth 46mm Magnetic Circular Polariser Plus+ is a CPL that attaches magnetically. It comes with a magnetic adapter ring for the lens thread, and uses German SCHOTT B270 glass with a CoraNano 20-layer coating on both sides. Urth states light transmission of 44.91% and reflectance of 0.56%.
Because the filter clicks on and off, you can fit it for a glare-heavy scene and take it off without unscrewing anything. The ring stays on the lens. Against a threaded polariser it is faster to swap, though it needs the adapter ring.

Is this the right filter for a 46mm lens thread?
It suits lenses with a 46mm filter thread, regardless of brand. Check the ø figure marked on the front of your lens or on its cap. A lens marked ø46 takes this filter directly, and the lens manual lists the thread size too.
Does the magnetic polariser include an adapter ring?
Yes. A magnetic adapter ring is included in the box. It screws onto your lens thread, and the polariser then attaches magnetically.
How much light does it block?
Urth states light transmission of 44.91%, so the filter absorbs a little over half the light. Expect to compensate with shutter speed, aperture or ISO.
Can I use it with a magnetic UV filter?
Not with the adapter ring on top of Urth's threaded Magnetic UV filter, as the magnets will repel. Use the ring directly on the lens thread.
