At a glance: The Urth 46mm Magnetic Adapter Ring screws onto a 46mm lens thread so it can take Urth's magnetic filters.
About this accessory
The Urth 46mm Magnetic Adapter Ring lets a lens with a 46mm filter thread take Urth magnetic filters. It threads onto the lens on one side and has a magnetic face on the other. Urth makes it from magnalium with a matte black, anti-reflective, corrosion-resistant finish.
Leave it on the lens and swap magnetic filters on and off in a moment. Urth warns not to combine it with a threaded Magnetic UV filter, as the magnets will repel. Several of Urth's magnetic filters and kits already include a ring, so this suits those who need a spare.

Frequently asked questions
How do I know if a 46mm filter fits my lens?
It fits lenses with a 46mm front filter thread. Check the ø figure marked on the front of your lens or on its cap. A lens marked ø46 takes this filter directly, and the lens manual lists the thread size too.
Do I need the adapter ring if I buy a magnetic filter kit?
Urth's Magnetic Essentials Kit and Magnetic CPL both include an adapter ring in the box, so you only need this if you want a spare or a ring for another lens.
Can I use it with the Magnetic UV filter?
No. Urth states that the magnets repel if you combine the ring with its threaded Magnetic UV filter. Use one or the other as your base.
Why buy from Bass & Bligh
Bought from a real shop, not a warehouse.

George P.Ordered a lens onlineA proper little treasure trove
3rd time I've been to this shop to treat myself to some new kit. Always very friendly and knowledgeable. Fairly priced too. I would highly recommend a visit if your nearby and looking for camera gear. I'd say if they don't have what your looking for, it's probably not possible to find anywhere. It's a proper little treasure trove.
