About this accessory
The Urth 39mm UV Filter Pro is Urth's top-tier clear filter. It uses AERO-C10 ionically tempered glass, which Urth states is 600% stronger than standard glass, with a CoraNano Max 34-layer coating on both sides. Stated transmission is 99.28% and reflectance is under 0.15%.
Compared with Plus+ (SCHOTT B270 glass, 30 layers) you get tempered AERO-C10 glass and a lower stated reflectance. It is a clear filter, so exposure compensation is not needed.

Is the Pro UV filter really stronger than normal glass?
AERO-C10 is the ionically tempered glass Urth uses in its Pro tier, and Urth states it is 600% stronger than standard glass. That figure is Urth's own claim, and no filter makes a lens impact-proof.
Do I need exposure compensation with the Pro UV filter?
No. Urth states 99.28% light transmission, so it behaves as a clear filter and your normal exposure settings apply.
Does a 39mm filter work on a small or compact lens?
This size is made for lenses with a small 39mm front thread. The ultra-slim frame keeps the added length down, which matters on compact lenses.
