About this accessory
The Urth 37mm UV Filter is the Standard-tier clear filter in Urth's range. It uses Japanese AGC optical glass with a multi-layer nano-coating (8 layers, according to Urth) in an ultra-slim aluminium frame, and it screws onto any lens with a 37mm filter thread.
Think of it as cheap insurance for a front element. It is clear, so there is no exposure compensation to think about, and the warranty is for life. Plus+ and Pro are the step-ups, with SCHOTT B270 glass and tempered AERO-C10 glass respectively.

Will the 37mm UV Filter fit my lens?
It fits lenses with a 37mm front filter thread. Check the ø figure marked on the front of your lens or on its cap. A lens marked ø37 takes this filter directly, and the lens manual lists the thread size too.
Do I need a UV filter on a digital camera?
Not for image quality, as digital sensors are far less sensitive to UV than film. Most people fit a clear UV filter as a cheap, replaceable guard against scratches, dust and fingerprints on the front element.
Does the Urth UV Filter change my exposure?
No. A clear UV filter does not reduce the light meaningfully, so you do not need exposure compensation.
Does a 37mm filter work on a small or compact lens?
This size is made for lenses with a small 37mm front thread. The ultra-slim frame keeps the added length down, which matters on compact lenses.
