At a glance: The PhotoLux SV-3 is a desktop LED slide viewer with a 3x glass magnifier for 35mm film strips and 5x5 cm mounted slides.

About this accessory

The PhotoLux SV-3 is a desktop viewer for looking at mounted 35mm slides and 35mm film strips. It has a 3x glass magnifier and four daylight-balanced LEDs rated at 6000K, so colours look natural. It runs on 4 AA batteries or a 6V AC/DC adapter.

A quick-eject feature lets slides drop into a tray as you work through a box. Choose the SV-3 if you have a collection of slides or negatives to look through before deciding what to scan or print, and you want to do it without a projector. It is a viewer for checking images by eye, not a scanner.

  • A proper little treasure trove

3rd time I've been to this shop to treat myself to some new kit. Always very friendly and knowledgeable. Fairly priced too. I would highly recommend a visit if your nearby and looking for camera gear. I'd say if they don't have what your looking for, it's probably not possible to find anywhere. It's a proper little treasure trove.
