At a glance: The Peak Design Pro Tripod Lite is a four-section carbon fibre travel tripod with an integrated ball head, reaching 162.5 cm, weighing 1.7 kg and rated to 15.9 kg.

About this accessory

The Peak Design Pro Tripod Lite is a carbon fibre tripod with four leg sections, a 3K carbon fibre centre column and an integrated CNC aluminium ball head that takes an Arca-style Standard Plate. It reaches 162.5 cm (133.2 cm with the column down), folds to 48.8 cm, weighs 1.7 kg and is rated for 15.9 kg.

It is slightly shorter and lighter than the full-size Pro Tripod but uses the same ball head and build. A low mode lets you shoot at about 16 cm from the ground, and the optional Tilt Mod (sold separately) converts the head into a fluid pan and tilt video head. Choose the Lite if you travel or hike with your tripod and want it to pack small.

  • A proper little treasure trove

3rd time I've been to this shop to treat myself to some new kit. Always very friendly and knowledgeable. Fairly priced too. I would highly recommend a visit if your nearby and looking for camera gear. I'd say if they don't have what your looking for, it's probably not possible to find anywhere. It's a proper little treasure trove.
