About this accessory
The Peak Design Cuff Rope in Black is a wrist strap made from nylon and polyester rope with a basket-weave sheath. The rope is 8 mm thick, the loop adjusts from 22 cm to 28 cm when cinched, and the whole strap weighs 21.3 g. It is rated to 82 kg and uses Anchors rated to 90 kg.
An aluminium stopper sets the loop size, and a slip adjuster tightens if the camera falls. The Anchors have slim housings matched to the colour of the rope. Choose the rope Cuff over the webbing Cuff if you prefer a softer, rounder strap on the wrist, or the leather version for a more traditional look.

How does the Cuff Rope tighten on my wrist?
It has a slip adjuster that cinches if you let go of the camera, and an aluminium stopper that lets you set the size of the loop.
Can the Cuff Rope use my existing Peak Design Anchors?
Yes. It uses quick-connect Anchors that are compatible with Peak Design's other straps, and two Anchors are included.
What is the difference between the rope, webbing and leather Cuff?
All three are wrist straps on the Anchor system. The rope Cuff uses 8 mm rope, the standard Cuff uses seatbelt-style webbing, and the Cuff Leather uses full-grain leather.
What size is the loop?
The minimum length is 22 cm and it cinches to 28 cm. Our Harrogate shop can show you how it sits on the wrist.
