The details
The Opticron QR (Quick Release) plate and shoe set provides a fast, secure mounting system for attaching optics to tripods. The plate screws onto your spotting scope or binocular tripod adapter via a standard 1/4-inch thread, then clicks into the shoe mounted on your tripod head.
Quick release means you can detach and reattach your scope in seconds without fumbling with screws - invaluable when moving between observation points or packing up quickly.
