The Opticron HR zoom eyepiece provides seamless variable magnification across the full range - from wide-field scanning at low power to high-magnification identification at the top end. The zoom ratio depends on your scope: 13-39x on 50mm, 16-48x on 60/62mm, or 20-60x on 77/80mm bodies.

The HR (High Resolution) optical design maintains sharpness throughout the zoom range, not just at the low end. This makes a real difference at high magnification where lesser zoom eyepieces often lose definition.
