Professional f/2.8 super-telephoto zoom lens with built-in teleconverter
Fast, tough, and reliable, this full-frame 400 mm super-telephoto lens with built-in teleconverter stops at nothing to get the shot. Every ounce of your experience, every detail of your planning—make it count. This lens is fully weather-sealed and ready to withstand daily professional use. A fluorine coating repels water, dust, and dirt without compromising image quality.
Sports. Wildlife. Nature. Built to capture extraordinary images in challenging situations, this formidable lens is ready for every move. AF performance is phenomenal, and in-lens Vibration Reduction gives you a 5.5-stop advantage. You get the same amazing image quality whether you’re shooting at 400 mm or with the teleconverter activated.
Extend your reach to 560 mm the instant you need it. A flick of a switch on the right side of the lens is all it takes to engage the teleconverter without changing shooting posture—or taking your eye away from the viewfinder.
Stills or video, the phenomenal resolving power of this lens enables incredibly sharp images. The f/2.8 maximum aperture opens up options for working creatively with shutter speeds and depth of field, and bokeh is beautifully rounded.
Shooting scenes with multiple direct light sources in the frame? Nikon’s high-performance anti-reflective Meso Amorphous Coat combats ghosting and flare by eliminating incidental light coming from both diagonal and vertical directions.
Why buy from Bass & Bligh
Bought from a real shop, not a warehouse.

George P.Ordered a lens onlineA proper little treasure trove
3rd time I've been to this shop to treat myself to some new kit. Always very friendly and knowledgeable. Fairly priced too. I would highly recommend a visit if your nearby and looking for camera gear. I'd say if they don't have what your looking for, it's probably not possible to find anywhere. It's a proper little treasure trove.
Philip B.Third visit to the shopBrilliant advice with awesome customer service
Sure you can buy online and possibly save a few pounds.. but if you require and appreciate knowledge and brilliant advice with awesome customer service then it's a no brainer...This is a real camera shop like it used to be back int day..
