The Hahnel HRC 280 PRO is a wired remote shutter release for Canon EOS DSLRs and mirrorless cameras, including the R, RP and R6 III, and for Pentax K-series cameras. Hahnel part number is 1000 701.0. It controls autofocus, bulb exposure and continuous shooting.
A wired release avoids camera shake on long exposures, in landscape, night and astro work, and works without batteries or Bluetooth pairing. The 2m extension cable has a twist-lock, so it will not pull out, and interchangeable connectors in the box let it work with different camera models. The grip is textured and anti-slip.
