Offering a broad field of view and delivering pin-sharp results, this original GF Lens takes image making back to the basics, so you can focus on being creative.

Matching GF55mmF1.7 R WR's focal length with the diagonal measurement of a GFX System camera's imaging sensor creates an angle of view that is very similar to the human eye.

GF63mmF2.8 R WR offers the 35mm equivalent to a 50mm lens, which is closest to the human eye. Yet while this lens offers the same natural view, it also enhances it, creating clear separation between subject and background to emphasize a three-dimensional look.

GF prime lenses maximize the potential of the sensor in GFX System cameras – and GF63mmF2.8 R WR is no exception. Its strength is simple lens construction, featuring ten elements in eight groups (including one ED lens), delivering color purity so valuable, with an information-rich large format system.
