At a glance: The Energizer 357/303 is a 1.5V silver oxide button cell for watches, light meters and small electronics, matching SR44, V357 and several other codes.

About this accessory

The Energizer 357/303 is a 1.5V silver oxide button cell. It carries many cross-references, including SR44W, SR44SW, V357, V303, GS13, 1131SO and D303/357, which makes it easy to match against the code printed on an old cell.

Silver oxide cells give a steady voltage through most of their life, which is why they are common in watches, light meters and measuring gear. This pack contains one cell on a blister card. Check the code on your existing battery or device manual, as 357 and 303 are the same size.

Frequently asked questions

Is 357 the same as SR44?

They are the same size and voltage. Energizer lists SR44W and SR44SW among the equivalents.

Is this suitable for a camera light meter?

Silver oxide cells give a steady voltage, which suits meters. Check your camera manual for the correct battery code.

What is the difference between 357 and 303?

Energizer lists them as the same cell with a joint code, so one cell suits devices marked either way.

Can it replace an LR44 alkaline?

It has the same size and voltage, and silver oxide holds its voltage better. Check your device manual if it specifies a type.

  • A proper little treasure trove

3rd time I've been to this shop to treat myself to some new kit. Always very friendly and knowledgeable. Fairly priced too. I would highly recommend a visit if your nearby and looking for camera gear. I'd say if they don't have what your looking for, it's probably not possible to find anywhere. It's a proper little treasure trove.
