At a glance: The Delkin Power 64GB is an SDXC UHS-II card rated U3 and V90, with up to 300MB/s read and 250MB/s write, for 8K, 6K and 4K video and RAW bursts.

About this accessory

The Delkin Power 64GB is an SDXC card on the UHS-II bus, rated U3 and V90. Delkin quotes up to 300MB/s read and 250MB/s write, with a guaranteed minimum sustained write speed of 90MB/s. It is described as water, shock and X-ray proof, and has a lifetime limited warranty.

V90 is the video class for high-bitrate recording such as 8K, 6K and high frame rate 4K, and the 250MB/s write speed clears the camera buffer quickly during RAW bursts. It is the card to choose over a UHS-I V30 card when your camera supports UHS-II and you shoot demanding video or fast action. In a UHS-I only camera it will work, but at UHS-I speed.

Frequently asked questions

What does V90 mean?

V90 is the video speed class that guarantees at least 90MB/s sustained write speed. It suits very high-bitrate video, such as 8K and high frame rate 4K.

Will it work in a camera that only supports UHS-I?

Yes, UHS-II cards are backwards compatible, but they run at UHS-I speed in a UHS-I slot, so you would not get the full benefit.

What is the difference between UHS-I and UHS-II?

UHS-II cards have a second row of pins that allows much higher speeds, up to about 312MB/s, while UHS-I tops out near 104MB/s.

Do I need a UHS-II card reader?

To get full speed when copying files, yes. A UHS-I reader will still read the card, just more slowly.

  • A proper little treasure trove

3rd time I've been to this shop to treat myself to some new kit. Always very friendly and knowledgeable. Fairly priced too. I would highly recommend a visit if your nearby and looking for camera gear. I'd say if they don't have what your looking for, it's probably not possible to find anywhere. It's a proper little treasure trove.
