About Camera Bags & Backpacks
The right camera bag carries your kit comfortably and gets it out quickly. We stock everyday backpacks and slings from Peak Design, travel and hiking backpacks from Think Tank and Lowepro, compact shoulder bags from Tenba and Manfrotto, and small mirrorless movers for a body and a lens or two.
Sizes are given in litres. Around 5 to 10 litres holds a mirrorless body and one or two lenses; 15 to 20 litres adds more lenses and a jacket; 25 litres and above suits full kits and travel. You are welcome to bring your camera into the shop and try it in the bag.

What size camera bag do I need?
Lay out what you carry on a typical day. A body and one or two lenses fits a 5 to 10 litre bag; add a laptop or spare clothes and look at 15 litres or more.
Backpack or shoulder bag?
Backpacks spread the weight for long walks and travel. Shoulder bags and slings are quicker to work from when you are shooting on the move.
Can I try a bag with my camera?
Yes. Bring your kit into the shop in Harrogate and we will help you find a bag it fits properly.
