The details

The Opticron MM4 50 GA ED is the straight-body version of Opticron's premium compact travelscope. ED (extra-low dispersion) glass in the 50mm objective virtually eliminates colour fringing, delivering pin-sharp, colour-true images that rival scopes twice the size and weight.

The MM4 platform accepts both MM3 and MM4 interchangeable eyepieces, giving you a wide range of magnification options. Dual-speed focus (coarse and fine) enables precise focusing at high magnifications. Waterproof, nitrogen-purged, and weighing just 460g — a serious optic for the travelling birder. Eyepiece sold separately.

  • A proper little treasure trove

3rd time I've been to this shop to treat myself to some new kit. Always very friendly and knowledgeable. Fairly priced too. I would highly recommend a visit if your nearby and looking for camera gear. I'd say if they don't have what your looking for, it's probably not possible to find anywhere. It's a proper little treasure trove.
