About this lens
The Tamron SP AF 60mm f/2 Di II LD (IF) Macro is a fast 1:1 macro prime designed for APS-C DSLRs. At 60mm on APS-C it acts like a 90mm short-telephoto macro on full-frame - a sweet-spot focal length for macro, product and portrait. The f/2 aperture is exceptional for a macro lens (most are f/2.8 or slower).

A rare fast-aperture APS-C macro - f/2 is a full stop faster than Canon's own EF-S 60mm f/2.8 Macro. Doubles as a portrait lens (96mm equivalent, f/2 for separation) and a true 1:1 macro. Di II means APS-C only - won't cover full-frame.

Will it work on a Canon full-frame DSLR like the 5D?
Not fully. Tamron Di II lenses are designed for APS-C coverage - on a full-frame body you'll get heavy vignetting.
Does this lens have image stabilisation?
No — this lens does not have image stabilisation.
Will it work on Canon RF mirrorless bodies?
No. Canon EF-S lenses do not mount on RF mirrorless bodies. Consider an RF-S lens (for APS-C RF bodies) or a full-frame EF lens with the EF-EOS R adapter instead.
