What's 'Habicht' in the name?
'Habicht' (German for Hawk / Goshawk) is a heritage Swarovski designation - a classic Swarovski style with leather and rubber armour in their signature green colour. More of a styling variant than a specification change.
Why pick a 10x30 over a 10x42?
30mm objective is smaller and lighter - about 200g less than a comparable 10x42. Trade-off: slightly dimmer in low light and smaller exit pupil. If you carry binoculars all day and light is usually good, the weight saving is very welcome.
