The details
At a glance: 1-inch 20.1MP compact vlogging camera with a 24-70mm f/1.8-2.8 Zeiss zoom and side flip-out screen.
About this camera
Released in 2020, the Sony ZV-1 is a pocketable 1-inch-sensor vlogging compact built around a bright 24-70mm equivalent f/1.8-2.8 Zeiss zoom. Its standout features are a side flip-out vari-angle touchscreen and creator-focused autofocus, all packed into a fixed-lens body designed for one-handed shooting.

Works with
- The lens is fixed and non-interchangeable - you cannot mount other lenses
- Multi Interface (hot) shoe accepts compatible flashes, microphones and accessories
- 3.5mm external microphone input for improved audio
- No built-in electronic or optical viewfinder - composition is via the rear screen only
Best for
The ZV-1 is aimed at vloggers and content creators who want notably better image quality than a phone in a camera that stays genuinely pocketable. The side flip-out screen faces forward for pieces to camera, the bright f/1.8-2.8 zoom copes with low light and gives background blur, and creator features like Real-time Eye AF and a Product Showcase setting suit talking-head and unboxing footage. Two things to be clear on: the lens is fixed and cannot be swapped for a different focal length, and there is no built-in viewfinder, so composing relies on the rear screen.

Why buy from Bass & Bligh
Bought from a real shop, not a warehouse.

George P.Ordered a lens onlineA proper little treasure trove
3rd time I've been to this shop to treat myself to some new kit. Always very friendly and knowledgeable. Fairly priced too. I would highly recommend a visit if your nearby and looking for camera gear. I'd say if they don't have what your looking for, it's probably not possible to find anywhere. It's a proper little treasure trove.
Philip B.Third visit to the shopBrilliant advice with awesome customer service
