A small optical viewfinder for Ricoh GR-series compacts - lets you compose using eye-level OVF-style framing rather than the LCD. Useful in bright sunlight or for more deliberate framing. Doesn't show exposure info, AF point, or live view - it's a simple optical viewfinder.
Frequently asked questions
Will this work on the GR IIIx?
No - the GR IIIx has a 40mm-equivalent lens with a different field of view. The VF-1 is framed for 28mm. Using it on a GR IIIx would show framing much wider than the lens captures.
