The Pentax-M 135mm f/3.5 SMC is Pentax's classic K-mount short-telephoto prime from the M-series - compact, SMC multi-coated, metal construction. Smaller than equivalent M42 Takumar variants. A great vintage 135mm for Pentax users.

How does this compare to the M42 version?
The K-mount Pentax-M is more compact and lighter than the M42 Takumar variant. Optical formula similar. K-mount fits Pentax K-mount bodies directly; M42 version needs an adapter.
