Frequently asked questions
Is this the same as the mju II Zoom?
No, and the difference matters. The plain mju II has a fixed 35mm f/2.8 prime lens, which is what gives it its reputation for sharpness. The Zoom versions trade that for a variable zoom lens with a much slower aperture and softer results - they are not as desirable.
Can it be repaired if something fails?
Only up to a point. Spares for these are scarce and the electronics are not economically serviceable, so condition matters more than usual. Do check the flash, autofocus and film transport all work before relying on one.
