The Olympus MC-20 is a 2.0x teleconverter for the Micro Four Thirds PRO telephoto lenses, doubling focal length at the cost of two stops of light. It preserves autofocus, stabilisation and full electronic communication, and is weather-sealed to match the PRO lenses it is designed for.

The most economical way to reach extreme focal lengths on Micro Four Thirds - it turns the 300mm f/4 IS PRO into a 1200mm-equivalent lens for a fraction of the weight, cost and bulk of any alternative. Best reserved for good light, since the two-stop loss puts an f/4 lens at f/8. Only fits a specific set of PRO telephoto lenses.
Frequently asked questions
MC-14 or MC-20 - which should I choose?
The MC-14 costs one stop of light for 1.4x reach; the MC-20 costs two stops for 2x. If you are often in marginal light, the MC-14 keeps the lens usable. If you need maximum reach and shoot in good light, the MC-20 gives far more.
Does autofocus still work at f/8?
Yes, on the supported PRO lenses and modern Olympus and OM System bodies. Autofocus will be slower and less certain in poor light than without the converter, which is normal for any 2x teleconverter.
