Frequently asked questions
Does it work with the MC-14 or MC-20 teleconverters?
No. The teleconverters are designed for the PRO telephoto lenses - the 40-150mm f/2.8, 300mm f/4 IS and 150-400mm. The 12-100mm is not on the compatibility list.
What is Sync IS worth in practice?
On a compatible Olympus or OM System body the lens and body stabilisation coordinate, giving up to 6.5 stops. In practice that means sharp handheld frames at shutter speeds well below a second at the wide end - a substantial advantage for travel and interiors.
