Best for
A classic Nikon flagship flash - the SB-800 was the gold-standard Nikon Speedlight in the mid-2000s, used at weddings and events for its high power, full articulation and CLS wireless capability. Succeeded by the SB-900 (2008, added radio) and SB-910 / SB-5000 (modern). Still a capable working flash.
Frequently asked questions
How does the SB-800 compare to the SB-900 / SB-910 / SB-5000?
Newer models add refinements: SB-900/910 added improved cooling and power. SB-5000 adds radio wireless (previously optical-only). SB-800 remains a capable working flash; if you don't need radio wireless the SB-800 is typically the most affordable capable Nikon flash used.
Why buy from Bass & Bligh
Bought from a real shop, not a warehouse.
Dispatched on the Monday… great service

George P.Ordered a lens onlineA proper little treasure trove
3rd time I've been to this shop to treat myself to some new kit. Always very friendly and knowledgeable. Fairly priced too. I would highly recommend a visit if your nearby and looking for camera gear. I'd say if they don't have what your looking for, it's probably not possible to find anywhere. It's a proper little treasure trove.
Philip B.Third visit to the shopBrilliant advice with awesome customer service
