About this lens
The Nikon AF-S 50mm f/1.8G is the modern update to Nikon's classic fast normal prime, released in 2011. It brings AF-S silent-wave autofocus, a newer optical design, and operation on all Nikon DSLRs regardless of whether they have an in-body AF motor.
