About this lens
The Nikon AF-S 35mm f/1.8G DX is a compact, affordable fast prime designed for Nikon DX (APS-C) DSLRs, released in 2009. It gives a normal-lens field of view (52.5mm equivalent) on crop sensors - a popular first prime for DX shooters.

Works with
- Nikon F-mount DX (APS-C) DSLRs - all bodies including entry-level
- Not recommended for Nikon full-frame (FX) DSLRs - heavy vignetting
Best for
A fast normal prime for DX bodies - ideal for low-light, portraits, and everyday photography. Compact and light enough to leave on the camera. Works on all Nikon DSLRs that accept DX lenses. Designed for DX sensors only; not recommended for full-frame FX bodies (heavy vignetting).
Frequently asked questions
Will it autofocus on entry-level Nikon DSLRs (D3xxx / D5xxx)?
Yes. The built-in AF-S silent-wave motor handles autofocus in-lens, so this works on every Nikon F-mount DSLR including entry-level bodies.
Why buy from Bass & Bligh
Bought from a real shop, not a warehouse.

George P.Ordered a lens onlineA proper little treasure trove
3rd time I've been to this shop to treat myself to some new kit. Always very friendly and knowledgeable. Fairly priced too. I would highly recommend a visit if your nearby and looking for camera gear. I'd say if they don't have what your looking for, it's probably not possible to find anywhere. It's a proper little treasure trove.
Philip B.Third visit to the shopBrilliant advice with awesome customer service
