About this lens
The Nikon AF-S 24-70mm f/2.8G ED is Nikon's original professional standard zoom in the AF-S line, released in 2007. For a decade it was the workhorse standard zoom for Nikon pros - a constant f/2.8 aperture, nano-crystal coating, and rugged construction.

The classic pro standard zoom - events, weddings, reportage, editorial. Superseded by the VR version in 2015 but still widely used. Works on all Nikon F-mount DSLRs. Note: no image stabilisation - consider the later 24-70mm f/2.8E VR version if VR is a priority.
