How does the 580EX II compare to the 600EX-RT?
The 600EX-RT (released 2012) adds radio wireless (the 580EX II only has optical wireless), slightly more power, and improved thermal protection. The 580EX II remains a capable working flash - optical wireless has line-of-sight limitations but costs less used.
