Best for
A practical intermediate thermal - the 384x288 sensor is a real step up from 256x192 in image detail, while avoiding the premium cost of 640x480. Good balance of performance and price for hobbyists, non-commercial hunting use, and wildlife observation.
Frequently asked questions
How does this compare to the XG30?
The XG30 has a much higher-resolution 640x480 sensor - clearer images and longer effective identification range. The XQ19 has a 384x288 sensor - still a solid image, noticeably less detail than the XG30 but dramatically better than 256x192 entry-level models.
Why buy from Bass & Bligh
Bought from a real shop, not a warehouse.

George P.Ordered a lens onlineA proper little treasure trove
3rd time I've been to this shop to treat myself to some new kit. Always very friendly and knowledgeable. Fairly priced too. I would highly recommend a visit if your nearby and looking for camera gear. I'd say if they don't have what your looking for, it's probably not possible to find anywhere. It's a proper little treasure trove.
