The Pentax K-5 is a 2010 enthusiast APS-C DSLR built around a 16.3MP Sony-sourced sensor that was widely regarded as class-leading for dynamic range and high-ISO performance at the time. Does stabilisation work with old manual lenses?
Yes, and it is one of the best reasons to own a Pentax body. Shake Reduction is in the camera, so any K-mount lens is stabilised - including decades-old manual primes. You enter the focal length manually for lenses that do not report it.
Is the kit lens weather-sealed too?
Yes. The 18-135mm carries Pentax's WR designation, so body and lens are both sealed and the combination can be used in rain.
