At a glance: Nikon FTZ II - mount adapter for using F-mount DSLR lenses on Z-mount mirrorless bodies.
About this lens
The Nikon FTZ II Mount Adapter lets you use Nikon F-mount DSLR lenses on Nikon Z mirrorless bodies. Full AF and metering are preserved on AF-S, AF-P and AF-I F-mount lenses. Screw-drive AF (AF-D) lenses work but without autofocus - manual focus only. The FTZ II refresh removes the tripod foot of the original FTZ for lighter handling.

Best for
The essential bridge between Nikon's F-mount DSLR lens library and their newer Z-mount mirrorless bodies. Full AF/VR/metering works on most modern Nikon F lenses (AF-S, AF-P, AF-I). Older screw-drive AF lenses mount but only operate in manual focus. The FTZ II removes the tripod collar foot of the original, saving weight and clearance.
Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between FTZ and FTZ II?
The FTZ II removes the tripod foot of the original FTZ - this gives better clearance for certain lenses and matches L-bracket setups better. Optically and electronically they are identical; both give full AF on AF-S/AF-P/AF-I lenses.
Will it autofocus my old screw-drive AF Nikkor lens?
No. Neither the FTZ nor FTZ II drives screw-AF - only lenses with built-in motors (AF-S, AF-P, AF-I) will autofocus. Screw-drive AF lenses (older AF-D lenses) work in manual focus only.
