About this camera
The Fujifilm VPB-XT3 is the vertical power booster grip for the X-T3 - it holds two additional batteries, adds a full set of vertical shooting controls, and boosts the camera's performance in Boost mode.

Works with
- Fujifilm X-T3
- Uses NP-W126S batteries
- NOT compatible with X-T4 / X-T5, which use a different grip and battery
Best for
Aimed at portrait, wedding and event photographers - three batteries in total roughly triples shooting time, and the vertical controls make portrait-orientation work far more comfortable. Boost mode is the less obvious benefit, lifting burst rate and viewfinder responsiveness. Adds noticeable bulk, so most people fit it for a job rather than leaving it on permanently.
Frequently asked questions
Will it fit an X-T2 or X-T4?
It is designed for the X-T3. The X-T2 uses the similar VPB-XT2 and the two are often cross-fitted physically, but full electronic function is only guaranteed on the intended body. It definitely does not fit the X-T4 or X-T5, which changed both grip design and battery.
What does Boost mode actually do?
With the extra batteries fitted, the camera can draw more power - raising continuous shooting speed, cutting shutter lag and blackout time, and increasing the viewfinder refresh rate. Useful for action, less so for static subjects.
