The Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM is a stabilised general-purpose zoom introduced in 1998, and for many years Canon's standard full-frame kit lens. Its near-5x range covers wide-angle through short telephoto, and it was one of the earlier consumer zooms to include image stabilisation and ring USM autofocus.
