About this adapter
The Ricoh Lens Adapter GA-2 is Ricoh's earlier-generation filter/hood adapter for Ricoh GR-series cameras - attaches to the lens mount ring and provides a 49mm filter thread. Designed for the GR (original) / GR II cameras, with different barrel sizing than the GA-3 for the GR III.

Will this fit the GR III?
No - use the GA-3 for the GR III / GR IIIx. The lens barrel diameter is different on the newer GR III generation, so GA-2 and GA-3 are not interchangeable.
