The details
Canon RF 50mm f1.8 STM Lens
This addition to the growing Canon mirrorless lens line-up comes in the form of a highly compact and lightweight RF 50mm f/1.8 STM prime lens. Weighing just 160g and measuring only 40.5mm long allows this standard focal width lens to be carried anywhere easily and discreetly. The 50mm length is suitable for the day-to-day shooting of many subjects including street photography, portraits, travel and much more. Despite the attractive price point the lens is capable of producing accomplished images and video, even in low light thanks to the suitably fast f/1.8 aperture. This allows the user to isolate their subject with a thin focal plane and continue to shoot even as light fades.
Highlight features:
- STM Motor
- Wide f/1.8 aperture
- Aspheric lens element
- Compact design
- Super Spectra Coating
The STM motor in this model delivers fast, near silent focus capabilities which are compatible with Canon’s latest AF systems. A considered optical design for enthusiasts provides six elements including an aspherical lens which can capture sharp images across the full frame, whilst the combined focus and control ring provides users with intuitive control.
Why buy from Bass & Bligh
Bought from a real shop, not a warehouse.

George P.Ordered a lens onlineA proper little treasure trove
3rd time I've been to this shop to treat myself to some new kit. Always very friendly and knowledgeable. Fairly priced too. I would highly recommend a visit if your nearby and looking for camera gear. I'd say if they don't have what your looking for, it's probably not possible to find anywhere. It's a proper little treasure trove.
Philip B.Third visit to the shopBrilliant advice with awesome customer service
Sure you can buy online and possibly save a few pounds.. but if you require and appreciate knowledge and brilliant advice with awesome customer service then it's a no brainer...This is a real camera shop like it used to be back int day..
