Best for
The 'street prime' of the Olympus M.Zuiko line - 34mm-equivalent is classic documentary/street focal length, f/1.8 gives decent subject separation on MFT, and the metal build + Snapshot Focus clutch make it a deliberate shooting tool. A popular pairing with PEN bodies.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a good first prime for MFT?
Yes - 34mm-equivalent is very useable for everyday, street and documentary work. f/1.8 provides decent shallow depth of field on MFT. The build quality is better than most kit-tier primes, and the Snapshot Focus clutch is a distinctive Olympus feature.
Does this lens have image stabilisation?
No — this lens does not have image stabilisation.
Why buy from Bass & Bligh
Bought from a real shop, not a warehouse.

George P.Ordered a lens onlineA proper little treasure trove
3rd time I've been to this shop to treat myself to some new kit. Always very friendly and knowledgeable. Fairly priced too. I would highly recommend a visit if your nearby and looking for camera gear. I'd say if they don't have what your looking for, it's probably not possible to find anywhere. It's a proper little treasure trove.
