This kit combines the flagship XT-4 silver mirrorless camera body with the well received versatile 18-55mm zoom lens for an equivalent focal range of 27-84mm (full-frame 35mm format). Photographers and videographers benefit from an all new 5-axis in-camera stabilisation system, which provides up to 6.5 EV stops of compensation. The lens also features optical stabilisation ensuring this combination will capture smooth video and sharp detailed images. The powerful X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor and X-Processor 4 deliver 26.1MP at class leading speeds thanks to algorithm updates. The Fuji XT-4 is currently the world’s fastest APS-C mirrorless camera (as of February 2020), capable of 15fps in burst mode. The shutter mechanism has also been updated to deliver 300,000 actuations, whilst together both remain compact and portable at a combined weight of just 917g.

autofocus is the quickest of any X-series camera and utilises Fujifilm’s renowned phase detection for both Face / Eye AF, able to acquire subjects in an impressive 0.02 seconds. Battery life has been increased with a new NP-W235 model, good for 500 frames per charge or up to 600 frames when shooting in economy mode. Videographers who enjoy hybrid shooting will find a new siangle switch to change from stills to movies, together with a dedicated video menu for separate adjustiment of settings. Fuji’s extensive range of colour simulations has been updated with a new ETERNA Bleach Bypass Film Simulation mode, bringing the total number of presets to 18 on the XT-4. Movies are recorded at up to 4K 60p or ultra slow motion at 240p in Full HD for slow motion playback. The new higher resolution vari-angle LCD screen is an excellent addition for capturing difficult angles.
