Designed as the ultimate versatile standard focal range for a host of subjects, this optic delivers premium quality across all fronts. The addition of lens barrel features for faster workflows and ease of use include a barrel Fn button and OLED information panel. These provide quick access to key shooting information as well as instant adjustment for lens settings, in a similar way to the Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S lens.
Designed for professionals and serious enthusiasts the Z 50mm f/1.2 S delivers exceptional resolving power coupled with unwavering autofocus capabilities for both stills and video. The ultra bright aperture is able to gather light in all but the darkest situations, ideal for any low light shooting. Beautifully rendered out of focus bokeh is second only to the class-leading 0.95 Noct lens, but at a considerably more affordable price.
17 elements in 15 groups include two ED glass elements and three aspherical elements ensuring consistent image quality is achieved throughout the aperture range, with highly detailed results across the entire frame. The large aperture from the Z 50mm f/1.2 S not only isolates light points, but is perfect for cinematic video footage, with a shallow depth of field associated with premium optics of this kind.
